The content of Cosmos Square is knowledge, any and potentially all knowledge and that knowledge is structured according to natural knowledge architecture (See Knowledge Architecture related site links in section 6.5. Related Web Site Links) into an integrating metaphor.

The Cosmos Square metaphor is completely original, developed, tested, and optimized over 3 decades, by one of our research team.

The metaphor is designed to be creative, interesting, open, and to support dynamic representation of any knowledge resource, as well as to provide structured 3D knowledge navigation.

Knowledge can now be effectively represented and accessed, while different knowledge resources can be logically related and prioritized, as required, according to various logical axis.

This has never been done before. This is an integrated universal ontology and topic map that is modeled and navigated in 3D.

Not only is this ground breaking and opening wide new doors for learning and knowledge sharing but it sets new foundations for user interfaces.

For just a single example of what that implies, considering multiple organization collaboration, as in emergency and crisis response and preparedness contexts, managing and coordinating operations, communications, processes, and knowledge sharing between and within different groups and organizations, a required but daunting challenge never yet fully achieved, it will now be possible through a rich 3D virtual environment control and management interface, while maintaining security and privacy of the shared knowledge and resources.
