The Cosmos Square metaphor is a knowledge sharing metaphor and while virtual world grids provide rich productive and compelling environments and interfaces, entitling, modeling, managing, and sharing knowledge requires a more specialized platform.

These REMMS (Resource Entitlement, Modeling, Management, and Sharing) platforms are quite new and require solid knowledge architecture foundations. One of our partners, 01 COMMUNICATIONS INC., from Montreal, is a leading developer of REMMS solutions with their DNAOS (Distributed Network Application Operation Services) technology and advanced network appliances.

A DNAOS and REMMS introduction document is appended to this document. The DNAOS REMMS technology provides the Cosmos Square knowledge content management, integration, and sharing support.

DNAOS is also used to manage the content from associated Cosmos Square websites, while ensuring privacy and security, and enabling sharing and advanced collaboration.
