Dr Michael Boyle obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, in 1979.

Expert software developer, with advanced expertise in Web applications, distributed objects, application servers, GUI development, programming languages, databases, as well as mathematical analysis, scientific, and engineering applications.

Director, senior scientist, and chief architect for Montreal-based Alethis Software Inc., Dr Boyle has worked on many important development projects, including with: CN Railway, Speedware, Oz Communications, Banque Nationale Financière, Centre Rx (Jean Coutu), Ex Pretio Technologies, Ad Opt Technologies, Hayne, Tetra Technologies, CPlane (Palo Alto), Aliosoft, Technologia, DNet, Progestic, Check It Out Communications, Ad Opt Technologies, Ericsson Communications, AutoVu Technologies, Ultimate Technographics, Eicon Technologies, Tordion Consulting, Virtual Prototypes, Famic, Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montréal (CRIM), Imagicians Artware (Ottawa), Alcan Aluminum (Arvida), Visual Edge Software Ltd.

Dr Boyle is responsible for many interesting application developments that include his DeepSkySurfing application and Web site for viewing and navigating the full scale celestial sphere in 3D, based on NASA information and stars database.

Teacher, mentor, and course designer, Dr Boyle has effectively contributed to the work of many leading learning institutions including: Technologia, CDI Corporate Education Services, Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montréal (CRIM), McGill University, Mkwawa Teacher's College (Iringa, Tanzania), as well as at the University of Waterloo (Ontario).

Along with Alethis Software, Dr Boyle is also responsible for the design and architecture of 01 COMMUNICATIONS DNAOS SOA rich client administration and graphical modeling applications, managing, modeling, querying, and reporting entitlement-secured virtual profiles and knowledge resources.

Long time partner and collaborator, Dr Michael Boyle is one of three main DNAOS technology architects and designers. Advanced graphical user interface specialist and n-dimensional graphics developer, with advanced training and educational skills, Dr Boyle is a key asset to the Cosmos Square core team.
