1.1.2. Visiting Viewpoint Starting from an initial user viewpoint, Cosmos Square is a highly structured 3D space, on a huge island surrounded by the ocean, with beaches and ocean fronts all around. The island/continent is covered with forests that start from small vegetation on the outskirts near the beaches, but grow taller, thicker, and denser towards the center of the island, so thick that past a certain point, they become completely impenetrable. The forests are traversed by small rivers that often flow underground, surfacing at various points. The center of the island is covered by a giant light and force-field dome that prevents external areal access and view. From outside, only the light from the dome can be seen. Visitors can reach and enjoy the beaches and ocean front, meet other visitors and island hosts that can guide them to a lodge where they can get orientation support. From the hosts and guides, they can learn about the mysterious Cosmos Square, that it is place to find and share knowledge, and where knowledge is very effectively structured and accessible. Visitors also learn about the Quest: that it requires entering and crossing the forest to reach Cosmos Square, that the forest becomes impenetrable after a while, although those that are ready, manage to find a way. The way to succeed in the Quest is not known to those that have not found it, but it is known that trust in self and intuition is key. Visitors who wish to try the Quest must register for it at the lodge. When they fail, they may return to the lodge, rest, get some support, and prepare to try again. As visitors go on the Quest, they enter the forest where they can find some hints, rather cryptic in the beginning, but that can start to make some sense after a while. Still, from an easy walk, the forest progressively becomes very difficult, a wild vegetation maze that keeps increasing in density, until advancing becomes impossible. By then though, visitors have enough clues to realize that the rivers may flow underground and under the vegetation and if they can find a proper point where the river surfaces, and trust their intuition and dive in the dark waters, it may lead them to Cosmos Square. And when they do dive-in, they get transported (teleported) to the center of Cosmos Square, in the fountain pool, from where they can start visiting and receive guidance. Guidance, available from human guide avatars and from AI-Bots, will instruct them to enjoy, visit, look around and, when they are ready to access and share knowledge resources, to select and subscribe to a program. There are many prepared programs but they can also be tailored to each individual. Some subscriptions are free, or sponsored, and others require payment, all according to the subscription type and available specials and discounts. Visitors also learn that subscribers get direct teleport access to easily enter and leave the Square, without having to go through the forest.
