6.3.1.1.2. Platform Integration

Platform integration happens on two main levels that, for the most part, can happen in parallel, especially as modeling is not dependent on the required integration work, only full operation is:

  • The platform level DNAOS-OpenSim Integration
  • The application level Cosmos Square modeling

  • DNAOS-OpenSim Integration
    • DNAOS-OpenSimulator interface
      • Finalize Design
      • Implement
      • Optimize
    • Transaction Support
      • Set-up
      • Test
      • Optimize

Along with platform set-up and integration, modeling is one of the main technical activities for this project.

Modeling activities are also grouped on two levels that can, for the most part, run in parallel, until they are finally integrated together. This model integration is typically not a "last minute" thing, as to has to be planned and structured. Still, the core model and the support platform are well defined, allowing effective parallelization of the modeling work:

  • Modeling the Cosmos Square core, the Beach, Forests, Lands, Square, Temples, Crypts, Fountain and other structures used to host knowledge resource models
  • Modeling knowledge resources hosted in the Cosmos Square core model

  • Core Modeling
    • Adapt and Finalize Design
    • Implement Areas
    • Implement Structures
    • Implement Animation
    • Implement Teleportation

  • Knowledge resource modeling
    • Design basic knowledge resource models, animation, interaction
    • Implement first set of knowledge resource models, animation, interaction
    • Implement second set of knowledge resource models, animation, interaction
