6.3.1. Current Project Work Plan
As introduced above, the Cosmos Square knowledge sharing virtual environment
is entering its implementation phase which is organized in three typically successive stages:
- Development: Developing a working solution, the focus of the current project and Development Work Plan
- Production: The next focus and project, bringing the developed solution to production level
- Marketing: Marketing and launching the production ready solution and ensuring its optimal market penetration, a project briefly summarized
in the Marketing Stage Work Plan Summary
Focus
The current project focus is the first stage of the implementation phase:
- Integrating the infrastructure components
- Developing the core Cosmos Square models
- Developing the associated application, support, guidance, and transactional services
Subsequent Stages
This work plan is focused on the first stage of the implementation phase.
Subsequent stages of the implementation phase are not included in this work plan but they are briefly presented in
further sections:
Parallel Tracks
The current Cosmos Square development project work plan is structured into twelve parallel running tracks.
In other words, apart from a few basic synchronization points, these work tracks run in parallel.
Parallel Tracks
The different tracks have been grouped in three main types: Technical, Operational, and Business.
Each of the twelve parallel tracks each have their own typically more sequential (sub-) work plan, with tasks and sub-tasks,
as summarized in the following hierarchical table and sections:
